By car. From Milano, Rome, Florence leave the Autostrada del Sole at the toll of Valdichiana and take the super-strada ( SS) Siena-Perugia, direction Perugia.
Leave the S.S. after a very short track, you will reach the " Abbazia di Farneta" of the year IX. From here reach Camucia and from Camucia
go up to Cortona. Here, near "Piazza della Repubblica" the place where tourists and Cortonese meet each other mostly, you'll find the apartment in Palazzo Baldelli.
If you have decided to stay in the " Rustico" (cottage) in " Il Pianello" you have to continue along the Etruscan walls towards "Il Torreone". Leave the provincial street, at the sign "le Celle" situated on the left, and continue on the street which is higher up and parallel.
By train. The nearest station is Camucia, but the fastest train , " Intercity", normally stop in Terontola station, about 10 km. from Cortona whereas the "Pendolino" stops in Arezzo, about 30 km. from Cortona.
